Personal TCS certificate
Personal TCS certificates are used for email encryption. CESNET provides these certificates as part of Trusted Certificate Service project.
Personal TCS certificates are available for users from organizations included in Czech Academic Identity Federation eduID.cz via federated web portal.

CESNET CA4 personal grid certsificate
CESNET CA 4 issues personal certificates for authentication, digital signature and data encryption.
Personal certificates are issued with a maximum validity of 13 months.
Personal registration with the registration office and submission of written documents confirming the correctness of the identification data specified in the application are necessary for processing the certificate application.
For capacity and organizational reasons, CESNET CA4 issues personal certificates primarily to users from organizations that do not and cannot have the TCS Personal Certificates service activated. Personal certificate from CESNET CA4 can get:
persons involved in CESNET research projects, administrators of systems and services operated by association members and institutions participating in CESNET research projects; and CESNET employees.
